Elwha River's Wild Journey

The Elwha winding through a wide valley coming back into growth, dense conifer on both sides and snow on the far peaks.

July in this river valley, and the early morning light was just hitting the distant peak. The white yarrow was in full bloom, contrasting with the dark green of the surrounding forest.
