Ferns along the way to Taft Point

Ferns seen along the trail towards Taft point. The hike towards Taft Point is a popular one in Yosemite National Park. It starts in Glacier Road and in a couple of miles, you reach Taft point to look down the Yosemite valley. Ferns along the trail, in late afternoon light lit up the trail.

October in the Sierra Nevada mountains, and the ferns along the trail had turned a deep gold. The light was dappled and diffuse, coming in at a low angle through the trees.
