Banner Peak from Island Lake

Banner Peak rises above the many small islands dotting Island Lake in the Ansel Adams Wilderness.

Island Lake in mid-July, and the snowfields are still holding on the north faces of Banner Peak. The lake surface was calm, but the light was too harsh for reflections.
