San Francisco Downtown and Karl

San Francisco gets a lot of fog in Summer. The fog even has a name, Karl. The fog envelopes the city and the bay leaving only the tall buildings of downtown visible.

August morning in the Bay Area, and the fog was so thick it completely obscured the city. Only the tops of the skyscrapers and Sutro Tower were visible above the cloud layer, with a clear orange sky above.
