Mount Whitney Winter Granite Peaks

Mount Whitney's granite peaks are dusted with snow and surrounded by low clouds.

March in the Eastern Sierra, and the high peaks still held plenty of snow. The light was soft and diffuse, perfect for bringing out the textures in the granite.
