Mount Whitney in winter

Mount Whitney and the peaks around it buried in snow, cloud and blowing spindrift working along the upper ridges.

March in the Eastern Sierra, and the high peaks still held plenty of snow. The light was soft and diffuse, perfect for bringing out the textures in the granite.
