Valley View winter wider perspective

Wider perspective of Valley View in winter with snow covering merced river. Valley view is a popular vista point in Yosemite National Park, along Northside drive. From this vantage point, you can see El Capitan, Bridalvel falls and a portion of Half dome, along with the South Rim. During sunset, El Capitan and Bridalveil falls are lit based on the direction of the sun. In one spring evening, when clouds gathered, the light kept changing dramatically causing a dramatic sunset that changed rapidly.

The Merced River in Yosemite Valley in winter, and the rocks are covered in a thick layer of fresh snow. El Capitan and the granite cliffs on either side of the valley are partially obscured by low clouds.
