Half Dome, Yosemite, Golden Light

Half Dome's granite face is illuminated by golden light during the late afternoon in Yosemite National Park.

August in Yosemite, and the late afternoon sun was hitting Half Dome just right. The granite was glowing gold, and the distant peaks were catching the last light of the day. I waited for a break in the clouds to get this shot.
