Sunset over Half Dome, from Washburn point

From Washburn point on Glacier Point road, sunset over Half Dome is captured. Behind Half Dome are Echo Peak, Clouds Rest, Mt. Hoffman, Poly Dome, Mt. Watkinson, Tenaya Canyon, Tenaya Peak, Tresseder Peak are all seen.

August in Yosemite, and the late afternoon sun was hitting Half Dome just right. The granite was glowing gold, and the distant peaks were catching the last light of the day. I waited for a break in the clouds to get this shot.
