Three peaks of Yosemite Valley

When driving into Yosemite through Highway 120, this view emerges of El Capitan, Half Dome and Sentinel Dome, all in one frame. It is quite spectacular view, and a telephoto lens compresses distances to make them appear very close to each other.

August in Yosemite Valley, and the granite faces of El Capitan and Half Dome are visible between the trees. The clouds were building up all afternoon, but the light remained even.
