Looking Up at the Palace of Fine Arts

Looking straight up into the honeycombed ceiling of the Palace of Fine Arts rotunda, lit warm gold against the dark, the tops of the columns closing it in.

I remember standing directly beneath the Palace of Fine Arts dome in San Francisco, looking straight up at the geometric patterns. The warm, golden light made the structure glow against the night sky.
