Lone Pine Peak and Alabama Hills

Fresh snow on Lone Pine Peak above the rounded granite boulders of the Alabama Hills, in black and white.

March in the Alabama Hills, and the Sierra crest still had a good snowpack. I liked how the dark granite boulders in the foreground framed the view of Mount Whitney.
