Merced River Below Vernal Fall

Vernal Fall is visible in the distance, framed by trees, as the Merced River flows over granite boulders in Yosemite National Park.

I spent the morning photographing the Merced River below Vernal Fall, where the water rushes over smooth granite boulders. The falls themselves are visible in the distance, framed by pines and deciduous trees showing their spring foliage.
