Vernal Falls from the Footbridge in Yosemite

Vernal Fall coming down into the Merced, the river running over big granite boulders with evergreens and bright new foliage either side.

I spent the morning photographing the Merced River below Vernal Fall, where the water rushes over smooth granite boulders. The falls themselves are visible in the distance, framed by pines and deciduous trees showing their spring foliage.
