Martin's beach sunset

The sun dips behind Saddle Rock, casting a bright glow over the Pacific Ocean and illuminating the wet sand of the beach.

June on the Oregon coast, and the fog was still thick offshore. I waited for the sun to rise high enough to burn through the marine layer and backlight Saddle Rock.
