Lake Marjorie

Lake Marjorie, en route to Pinchot Pass.

I was hiking the John Muir Trail in late summer when I came across this view of Big Pothole Lake. The afternoon sun was casting dramatic shadows across the granite slopes, and the deep blue of the lake contrasted sharply with the white cumulus clouds.
