Tunnel view in Yosemite covered in snow. Yosemite National Park is beautiful in all seasons, but it really comes alive in winter. During good snow years, there is snow everywhere in the meadows. It makes it dangerous to drive around, but if you can deal with icy roads, a world of wonder awaits. This is Tunnel View, as seen shortly after a winter storm.

The first significant snowfall of the season in Yosemite Valley, and the granite cliffs were dusted with white. The clouds were low, shrouding the upper reaches of El Capitan and obscuring the high country.
