Sierra Nevada Peaks and Sky

Granite peaks rise to meet a blue sky with scattered clouds in the Sierra Nevada.

July in the Sierra Nevada high country, and the granite peaks still have patches of snow in the shaded gullies. The sky was a brilliant blue, scattered with puffy white cumulus clouds.
