Looking north from Glen Pass across granite slabs and lingering snowfields to the ridge beyond.

July in the Sierra Nevada high country, and the granite peaks still have patches of snow in the shaded gullies. The sky was a brilliant blue, scattered with puffy white cumulus clouds.
