Cathedral Lake Sunset

Cathedral Peak stands over Cathedral Lake, a granite island and a few pines catching the last gold.

I spent a week in the Tuolumne Meadows area, and this was the only morning Cathedral Peak wasn't shrouded in smoke. The golden light on the granite made the early start worthwhile.
