Sunset in Yosemite Valley, as seen from Washburn Point. Mt. Hoffman, Poly dome, Mt. Watkins, Tenaya Canyon, Tenaya Peak, Tresseder Peak, Echo Peak, Clouds, Rest, Half Dome, Vogelsang Peak, Mt. Florence, Mt. McClure, Little Yosemite Valley, Mt.Broderick, Liberty Peak, Mt. Clark, Mt. Lyell, Mt. Starr-King, Grey Peak, Red Peak, Merced Peak, Gale Peak are seen, along with Nevada Falls and Vernal Falls.

August in Yosemite, and the late-day sun was hitting Half Dome just right, turning the granite a warm gold. The rest of the valley was already in shadow, and the clouds were building to the west.
