Sunset over Yosemite High Country

Half Dome is illuminated by golden sunset light, towering over a blue-hued Yosemite Valley with scattered clouds in a deep blue sky.

August in Yosemite, and the late-day sun was hitting Half Dome just right, turning the granite a warm gold. The rest of the valley was already in shadow, and the clouds were building to the west.
