Round Valley Regional Preserve

A wide valley of green hills with deciduous oaks all through it, some in close groves and others out on their own.

February in the California foothills, and the grasses are already greening up after the winter rains. The deciduous trees are still bare, their branches creating intricate patterns against the bright hillsides.
