Upper Lyell Canyon and stream

The stream threads the meadow in Upper Lyell Canyon, with granite and old snow on the walls above.

July in the High Sierra, and the meadows were lush after a heavy snow year. The stream was still running high, but the wildflowers were just starting to come out.
