Upper Lyell Canyon and stream

At the foot hill of Donahue pass, Upper Lyell Canyon is a popular campsite before the ascent.

July in the High Sierra, and the meadows were lush after a heavy snow year. The stream was still running high, but the wildflowers were just starting to come out.
