Banner Peak and Mt. Ritter

Banner Peak and Mt. Ritter seen from Lake Ediza. In Ansel Adams wilderness, Banner Peak and Mt. Ritter are seen. Ansel Adams wilderness is one of the best areas along the John Muir Trail. Lake Ediza is a popular camping spot for overnight camping as well.

August morning at Convict Lake, and the water was still enough to mirror the peaks behind the lake. The sky was partly cloudy, with the clouds also reflected in the water.
