El Capitan Reflected, Yosemite Valley

El Capitan and the surrounding trees are reflected in the calm water of the Merced River in Yosemite Valley.

Autumn in Yosemite Valley is always a treat, and this year the Merced River was high enough to provide perfect reflections of El Capitan. The light was soft and even, and the fall colors were at their peak.
