Garnet Lake

Garnet Lake offers a different view of Banner Peak and Mount Ritter.

Hiking the High Sierra in early July, I reached Thousand Island Lake before noon. The water was still and clear, reflecting the granite peaks of Mount Ritter and the Ritter Range.
