Sierra Nevada Valley and Clouds

A valley in the Sierra Nevada mountains is filled with a dense forest under a cloudy sky.

Hiking in the Sierra Nevada in late July, I was struck by the contrast between the granite peaks and the dense green forests filling the valley below, all under a sky heavy with cumulus clouds.
