Wild flowers along Martin's beach

Martin's beach is a secluded beach along Hwy 1, seven miles south of Half Moon Bay. At sunset, summer wildflowers along the beach with the beautiful peaks of the beach in the background.

Driving along the Northern California coast in late June, the fog was thick enough to limit visibility to a few hundred yards. The sea stacks were silhouetted against the diffused light, with just a hint of orange nasturtiums on the bluffs in the foreground.
