Elm Tree at Cook's meadow

The big elm in bright yellow, standing in a sunlit meadow of gold and rust grass with the conifers dark behind.

Yosemite Valley in late fall, and the grasses in the meadow were all tawny and dry. The leaves on the deciduous trees were mostly still clinging, catching the low sunlight.
