Death Valley Dunes at Sunset

Sand dunes in Death Valley National Park are lit by the warm light of the setting sun.

December in Death Valley, and the low sun angle was already painting the dunes gold when I arrived. The wind was calm, and the only sounds were the crunch of my boots and the occasional raven overhead.
