Sierra Lake, Evening Light

A high Sierra lake reflects the pastel colors of the sunset sky, with granite islands and snow-dusted peaks in the distance.

July in the Sierra high country, and the mosquitoes were already out in force. I was swatting them away as I set up for this shot of the lake at sunset, hoping to catch the light on the peaks.
