Sierra Peaks Golden Hour Reflection

Golden light illuminates the peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains, reflected in the calm surface of a lake.

July in the Sierra high country, and the mosquitoes were out in force as I waited for the first light to hit these peaks. The lake surface was still enough for a perfect reflection, doubling the drama of the granite faces.
