Half Dome Winter Meadow Reflection

Snowy Half Dome rises above a partially frozen meadow in Yosemite Valley.

Winter in Yosemite Valley is always a gamble; sometimes the storms are relentless, sometimes the skies are clear. This morning, a few clouds clung to the summit of Half Dome, but the granite face was clear and catching the early light, reflecting in the shallow water of the meadow.
