Thousand Island Lake Sunrise Glow

Sunrise light strikes Banner Peak and the surrounding mountains, reflected in the calm surface of Thousand Island Lake.

July in the High Sierra, and the alpenglow on Banner Peak was intense. The lake surface was still enough to give a perfect reflection of the peak and the surrounding mountains.
