Sunrise falls over Mt. Whitney

Sunrise over Mount Whitney. Taken from Trail Camp, where I camped overnight.

September on Mount Whitney, and the sun was just cresting the peaks to the east. The granite faces were glowing orange in the early light, while the deep blue sky was still dark.
