Sierra Lake and Granite Peak

A turquoise lake sits nestled among granite peaks and evergreen forests under a partly cloudy sky in the Sierra Nevada.

July in the Sierra high country, and the lake was still full from snowmelt. The granite peaks surrounding the lake were sparsely covered with trees, and the sky was a mix of blue and white clouds.
