Horse tail falls, fire falls #3

Horsetail Fall glows bright orange and yellow against the dark gray granite cliff face of El Capitan, with dark green pine trees silhouetted along the ridge.

February in Yosemite Valley, and I was lucky enough to witness the firefall effect on Horsetail Fall. The setting sun hit the waterfall at just the right angle, turning the water into a stream of molten gold against the dark granite.
