Mount Russell Golden Hour Peaks

The last sun catches the ridgeline above a dense stand of foxtail pine, with the meadow below already in shade.

July in the high Sierra, and the sun was setting behind me, casting a warm glow on the granite peaks above Crabtree Meadows. The air was still and the only sound was the wind in the pines.
