Dolomites Mountains and Lake Valley

A town sits in a valley between forested mountains near a turquoise lake under a partly cloudy sky in the Dolomites, Italy.

August in the Dolomites, and the air was clear enough to see for miles. The town nestled in the valley looked tiny from my vantage point, but the lake was a striking turquoise color.
