Charleston Red Door, Number 100

A bright red door with black ironwork and lion-head knockers is framed by cream-colored columns and a fanlight in Charleston, South Carolina.

Wandering the streets of Charleston in late December, I was struck by the variety and color of the architecture. This red door, with its symmetrical details and transom window, was one of my favorites.
