Autumn River Valley

A dramatic view of the river winding through a colorful autumn landscape.

October in the Columbia River Gorge, and the autumn colors were emerging on the trees along the river. The clouds were low and heavy, promising rain later in the day, but the light was still good for photography. I was able to capture the scene before the weather turned.
