Autumn River Valley

The Columbia running through its gorge with the hillsides green and yellow on both sides, cloud lying low.

October in the Columbia River Gorge, and the autumn colors were emerging on the trees along the river. The clouds were low and heavy, promising rain later in the day, but the light was still good for photography. I was able to capture the scene before the weather turned.
