Sierra Nevada Majesty - Whitney Range

Dense pine running up to the pale granite of Mount Williamson and the crest, with dark cloud breaking over it.

July in the Eastern Sierra, and afternoon thunderstorms were building over the crest. I waited for a break in the clouds to catch the light on Mount Williamson's granite faces.
