Mount Hood Reflected at Trillium

Mount Hood rises behind a dense forest and is reflected in the rippled surface of Trillium Lake.

August at Trillium Lake, and the light was soft and golden, illuminating the peak of Mount Hood. The water was calm enough to reflect the mountain and the surrounding forest, creating a mirror image of the scene above. The air was crisp and clear, making for a perfect morning of photography.
