Sierra Lake and Granite Peaks

A small alpine lake sits below granite peaks in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

July in the Sierra high country, and the snowmelt was still feeding the lake. The granite peaks in the distance had just enough snow to make them pop against the blue sky.
