Vernal Fall's Powerful Spring Runoff

Vernal Fall plunges powerfully over the granite cliffs, sending whitewater rapids through the Merced River below.

May in Yosemite Valley, and Vernal Fall was at its peak flow. The water was so high it obscured the usual trail up the side of the falls.
