Sierra Crest from Big Horn

Jagged peaks of the Sierra Nevada rise beyond a forested valley under a partly cloudy sky.

Hiking the Big Horn Plateau in late July, I could see storm clouds building over the Sierra crest. The light was constantly shifting as the clouds moved, creating dramatic shadows on the mountains.
