Hawk Hill Closeup

Hawk Hill offers a breathtaking panoramic view of San Francisco, nestled in the Marin Headlands. From this elevated vantage point, you can see the iconic Golden Gate Bridge stretching over the bay, framed by rolling green hills and the shimmering waters of the Pacific Ocean. On clear days, the skyline of downtown San Francisco, Alcatraz Island, and the vast expanse of the Marin coastline create a stunning backdrop. It's a perfect spot for photography, hiking, and soaking in the natural beauty of the area, especially at sunrise or sunset when the light casts a golden glow over the landscape.

I like to photograph the Golden Gate Bridge at twilight, when the sky is still blue but the city lights are on. The long exposure captures the movement of traffic on the bridge and the winding roads of the Marin Headlands.
