Langille Peak Panorama

Leconte Canyon is just south of Muir Pass, along the John Muir Trail. This is where hikers from Bishop Pass land on the JMT. The canyon is a popular camping spot for hikers of the Muir Pass. In this photo, Langille Peak is seen along with Le Conte Canyon

Golden hour in the Sierra Nevada, and the granite peaks are catching the last light of the day. The shadows are already long in the valleys, but the summits are still glowing. I was lucky to be here at the right moment.
