Market Street and Downtown San Francisco

The Twin Peaks are two prominent hills with an elevation of about 925 feet (282 m)[1] located near the geographic center of San Francisco, California. The Twin Peaks are the second and third highest mountains in the city; only 928 foot (283 m) Mount Davidson is higher within San Francisco city limits. This view from Twin Peaks shows the entirety of Market Street through Embarcadero street.

I've photographed San Francisco from many angles, but this view from Twin Peaks captures the city's density and the dramatic cloudscape over the bay. The city stretches out to the water, with the skyline punctuated by skyscrapers, all under a dynamic sky.
