Valley view in winter

Snow-covered boulders along the Merced, El Capitan and Cathedral Rocks in the water, the whole valley under winter cloud.

I was in Yosemite Valley after the first snowfall of the season, and the Merced River was calm enough to reflect El Capitan and the surrounding peaks. The snow was clinging to the trees and rocks, creating a beautiful winter scene.
