Autumn at Middle North Falls

Middle North Falls dropping into a dark pool, bright yellow leaves and green mossy rock all round.

October in Silver Falls State Park, and the Bigleaf Maples are at their peak, their yellow leaves contrasting with the dark basalt cliffs and the green moss. The falls themselves were running high after a week of rain.
