A field of purple lupine flowers surrounds a cluster of granite boulders under a pastel sky.

Spring in California, and the lupines were at their peak, blanketing the hillsides in purple. I found this cluster of granite boulders as a counterpoint to the flowers, and the sky was cooperating with a soft, pastel glow.
