Ritter and Banner Closeup

Close up of Mount Ritter and Banner Peak. Photo taken from Lake Ediza area.

August in the Ansel Adams Wilderness, and the granite peaks of Banner Peak and Mount Ritter dominate the landscape. The sky was clear, with just a few cirrus clouds, and the air was still and warm as I hiked into the valley.
