Granite Peaks Reflection - Kearsarge Pinnacles

A serene alpine lake reflects the dramatic granite peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The crystal-clear water mirrors the sky and clouds, creating a stunning natural artwork. This is the Kearsarge Pinnacles and Kearsarge Lakes.

July in the High Sierra, and the Kearsarge Lakes were still and clear enough to mirror the peaks behind them. The granite slopes were dotted with foxtail pines, and there were still patches of snow in the shadows.
